FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EcoScraps Plans to Park 12,000 Arizona Cars in March

Each bag of EcoScraps organic soil is equivalent to parking one car for a month.

PROVO, UT (March 1, 2011)- EcoScraps plans to clean Arizona’s air in March by parking 12,000 cars throughout the state.

“Each bag of EcoScraps organic soil is the equivalent of parking one car for a month in

greenhouse gas reductions,” said Anthony McDonald, EcoScraps Arizona Manager. “The more bags of soil we sell to members of our community, the more cars we can park.”

EcoScraps encourages community members to get involved by using the soil in their home gardens to improve the environment.

“Our soil is made from produce scraps, which are completely organic,” said McDonald. “By putting eco friendly soil back into the ground, we are not only cleaning our air, but also creating a natural soil that is rich with nutrients.”

EcoScraps organic soil can be purchased at one of these 15 locations in Arizona: Bakers Nursery (3414 N. 40th St., Phoenix), Summerwinds- West Bell (6426 W. Bell Rd., Phoenix), Summerwinds- Tantum (17826 N Tatum Blvd, Phoenix), Berrridge Nursery Farms (4647 E Camelback Rd, Phoenix), The Style Nursery (7120 N 12th St, Phoenix), Whitfill (2647 E Southern Ave, Phoenix), Southwest Gardener (2809 N 15th Ave, Phoenix), Howards Ace Hardware (3111 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix), Summerwinds (3160 S Country Club Dr, Mesa), Homco’s Ace Hardware (929 E Broadway Rd, Tempe), Squash Blossom Nursery (784 N Tegner St, Wickenburg), Green Things (3235 E Allen Road, Tucson), Desert Survivors (1020 W Starr Pass Blvd, Tucson), Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market on Saturdays, and Awhatukee Farmers Market on Sundays.
