FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
EcoScraps Parked 2,821.5 Cars in Arizona
EcoScraps continues to improve Arizona’s environment with their “Parking Cars” Campaign
TEMPE, AZ (March 9, 2011)- EcoScraps has “parked 2,821.5 cars” in just a week and a half by selling their organic soil, and their sales are only going up.
Each bag of EcoScraps organic soil they sell is the equivalent of parking one car for a month in greenhouse gas reductions. EcoScraps began their “Parking Cars” campaign on March 1. They plan to sell 13,000 bags of organic soil throughout the month.
“We are looking for more homes who will “park their cars” in the Phoenix area by using our organic soil,” said Anthony McDonald, EcoScraps Arizona Manager. “Each home who participates helps us improve our environment.”
To encourage community members to participate, EcoScraps is offering home delivery for the Phoenix Metro area. Each home delivery is $65. It includes 12 one cubic foot bags of Harvest Plenty, which is equivalent to parking 12 cars.
