FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
EcoScraps is Rapidly Growing in Denver
EcoScraps organic soil is now sold in 11 locations in Denver with five more to come by the end of March.
DENVER, CO (March 24, 2011)- EcoScraps’ Harvest Plenty Compost Mix and Potting Mix will be available in 16 locations in the Denver Metro area by the end of March and will continue to be offered in more locations throughout Colorado in the near future.
Harvest Plenty Potting Mix and Compost Mix are both made from over 25 composted fruits and vegetables that would have gone to the landfills. Neither mix contains manure or petrochemicals, which are common ingredients in most compost.
“Each bag of Harvest Plenty organic soil is 100 percent natural,” said Blaine Wilkins, EcoScraps Colorado Manager. “It is composted locally using produce waste from local produce providers. Most people who try it never want to go back to using anything else.”
Harvest Plenty Potting Mix is used for indoor growing and potted plants. It is ideal for seeding. It is a carefully blended combination of compost, perlite, and coco coir. It is $7.99 for one bag, which is five quarts.
Harvest Plenty Compost Mix is ready to use in any type of garden such as a raised-be, flower, vegetable, etc). According to EcoScraps, it helps break up clay soils and improves the water retention in sandy soils. It is the only commercial, organic compost mix that does not contain manure. It is $6.99 for one bag, which is five quarts.
“Harvest Plenty Potting Mix will organically feed your plants much longer than petrochemical based soils,” said Wilkins. “Gardeners who like to enjoy their gardens indoors throughout the year love this compost mix.”
